Atelier Cartographik is an independent French design and illustration studio, founded in 2009.

We create maps, visual identities, illustrations and bespoke visual worlds for travel, hospitality, culture, publishing and lifestyle brands.

At the heart of our work is a fascination with places and the stories they hold. We bring together cartography, illustration and graphic design to create distinctive visual experiences that help people discover, understand and remember a place.

Our work balances clarity and emotion, contemporary design and a sense of nostalgia — with a strong attention to detail and a deeply personal approach to every project.

Our work has been commissioned by Lonely Planet, Le Monde, the French Ministry of Culture, Brussels Airlines, Empire Magazine, AA Traveller, The Good Life and Europavox, among others.

Based in the Lot, France, we work internationally with destinations, hospitality groups, travel brands, publishers, cultural institutions and private clients.
